Assessment detail


    1. Below is how you will be formally assessed and what you must complete in order to graduate as a teacher.  You will create a portfolio of evidence

    2. Please note that there may be some variations to the form of assessment but the content will mostly remain the same.

    3. From the very beginning you will have a chance to teach and instruct.  So, by the time you are formally assessed you will have had plenty of practice and feedback.

    4. You will be supported and guided throughout every stage including essay writing, lesson plan guides etc. Plus time management, mini deadlines and online support group etc.


    5. BulletMinimum 80% attendance


    1. BulletCompletion of Functional Anatomy of Yoga online training

    2.    This is a well structured course by David Keil.

    3.     You will be registered as soon as training starts and follow all units.

    4.    Deadline: Before second weekend of training

    5.     Understanding of anatomy and physiology will also be reflected in

    6.     essays, teaching plans and teaching practice


    1. BulletEmergency First Aid for yoga teachers

  1.      This will be on one of the training days run by MGM Training

       Certificate will be valid for 3 years    

     Deadline: Attendance for full training day in October 2019

  2.       This is included as part of your reflective diary and converging history essay

      As part of the log you are encouraged to focus on a particular area of your  

      practice - reflecting on how this deeper understanding will inform your

      teaching.

  1.      This will be a larger piece of work, something you will build on over much

      of the course.  It will be a personal and specific project giving you the

      opportunity to investigate and develop a yoga-related interest, practice, theory  

      (more detail of this once the course has started).
