Mindfulness, breathing and relaxation exercises can alleviate stress and anxiety;  they also help improve concentration and  help us sleep better..  A regular breathing practice can increase lung capacity and improve health.

As we relax our muscles and release tension, our posture improves.We feel lighter in our bodies and easier in our movements.

This is not a physical fitness class and there is no need for an exercise mat.

We will be sitting on chairs for much of the class with a few gentle, limbering and stretching movements during the session. Included in the session is a guided relaxation for body and mind.

Overlooking the canal The Malt Shovel is the perfect venue –  peaceful, warm and comfortable with plenty of parking.

Wear comfortable clothes and bring a warm top. You may want to bring a cushion and a bottle of water

The class is suitable for all ages and abilities but please note there is a small flight of stairs so there is some restriction to access
